Ceramics
I discovered Ceramics while studying Art History in university and quickly found myself at the wheel. There is something so humbling about working with a medium that has been a part of our universal, cultural history since the beginning of civilization itself, don't you think?
Answers to your Questions!
Where are they made?
Germany!
more specifically: I work out of my little studio in my apartment; sometimes if the weather is nice, I even work out on my balcony! Not bad, na?
Is it food and dishwasher safe?
- All mugs and other functional kitchen dishware are food safe! Yay!
That also means: Please do not drink out of a vase! Ceramics are tricky and its best to use the piece for its intended function.
- Warning, please do not place ceramics in the microwave, they will get hot!
- Handmade ceramics also prefer to be washed by hand; they stay nicer that way!
Following these simple steps will allow you to enjoy your favorite mug for years to come!
Do you have Open-studio or Workshops?
At the moment I do not have Open-studio or Ceramic Workshops. Though you can stay up-to-date on when they will be available by subscribing to my newsletter below! (usually sent just once a month)
- For Journal Workshops and sign-ups, head on over to the DIY/ Workshops page!
How often are your Ceramic releases?
I will be aiming for a Ceramic release once a month! Yippee!
How many pieces there will be in a collection is to be determined & will be revealed through the newsletter and Instagram with a preview of the pieces!
- I unfortunately do not accept custom ceramic orders, holds, or pre-sales. Sorry!
